Know Me
Born and raised in the serene town of Kalyani, West Bengal, I’ve always carried a quiet curiosity for the world around me. After completing my education in engineering and business, I moved to Kolkata to build a career in consulting. But even amidst spreadsheets and strategy decks, a parallel journey was quietly unfolding—one through the lens of a camera.
Twelve years ago, when smartphones first became our everyday companions, I began capturing moments without much thought—street corners, smiling strangers, fleeting reflections. It was casual at first, but somewhere along the way, I realized photography wasn’t just a hobby; it was a part of who I am. Soon came the digital camera, and with it, a deeper dive into the art of seeing.
I don’t confine myself to one genre. I enjoy exploring everything—from street and travel to creative series and portraits. But I’m especially drawn to people, reflections, and patterns—stories told in shadows and light. There’s a kind of truth I find in black and white photography—a raw, emotional clarity that speaks louder than color ever could.
This space is my visual journal—shaped by years, cities, emotions, and quiet moments stolen from everyday life. If my work resonates with you, brings you a moment of joy, or simply makes you pause and look closer, I’d truly love to hear from you. And if you feel our creative visions align, and there’s a chance to collaborate in a way that fits into the rhythm of my personal time, I’d be glad to explore it together. My contact and social media details are just a scroll away.
I have to acknowledge my heartfelt thanks to my guru, Sir Sounak Banerjee, whose mentorship at the Calcutta School of Contemporary Photography shaped my understanding of visual storytelling. His wisdom and guidance taught me to see beyond the lens and feel the soul of every frame.
Let’s connect—not just through photos, but through shared perspectives.
